Famous Chef Designer chose Desita to bring his concept to the Middle East

Roberto RinaldiniFor those who don’t know yet, let me introduce you to Roberto Rinaldini, the pastry Chef fashion designer, considered a real enfant prodige of the pastry art. From 1996 on, at the age of 19, he can boast an outstanding succession of awards of national and international level: from the Italian Pastry Championship at the Sigep Exhibition in Rimini, to the first prize in tasting in the world championships UIPCG in Barcelona. From the title as World Champion Ice-cream Maker to the prize for the best dessert during the WTCP in Phoenix, up to the most recent title of  Pastry Chef of the Year during the twentieth Symposium of the Academy of Italian pastry chefs, some weeks ago.

In 2007 his art has reached Japan, where he still sending products monthly, as guest star of a famous Japanese reality followed by 12 million people. 6S0B8610 Nowadays, a part his own shops, the most prestigious Rinaldini display is at La Rinascente in Milano.

Rinaldini is also promoter of several competitions and initiatives as The Star of Chocolate, international chocolate art competition, The Star of Sugar, The Pastry Queen, the Italian Junior Confectionery Championship and the Pastry Camp, a total immersion experience for the new talents of Italian pastry making that can learn from the most influential masters of confectionery.

Astonishingly creative in interpreting the themes of his compositions, with the opening of the store in Rimini, he launched a new concept, a Jewelry of Taste, that combine a coffee shop, a pastry shop, a chocolate corner and ice-cream parlour in a setting of luxury store, but affordable for all the guests, where you can enjoy the true master pieces of pastry art. Just to mention some of his creations: la “VenereNera” (the black Venus) which has become an icon of international pastry making; the dessert à porter collections: every six months he presents a new dessert collection, inspired by a different theme; the latest one (autumn-winter collection 2013-14) Dessert in the City, takes inspiration from some big cities of the world, like Milan, Dubai, Moscow, New York, Paris, Rio and Tokyo; the MacaRAL, special macaroons created to represent the RAL colour folder, the masterworks of Cake Design, the Cup cakes collections, and not to mention the amazing chocolaterie and the multi-awarded ice-cream.
